Dog Training Services
Basic Obedience Package
$250 for 4 lessons. Covers basics of positive reinforcement and games-based training. Includes behaviors like come, sit, stay, down, place, touch, watch me, and leave it. Also helps develop focus on you and enjoyment of learning.
Special Issue Management
$75 per session. Consultation to present management strategies and training games. Follow-up training sessions to help you implement the plan are optional.
Drive Fee
A drive fee will be added for locations more than 15 miles one way, though we can meet at a local park when weather permits if you’d prefer.
Shaping.
Like humans, dogs have many aspects to their personalities. These traits — like optimism, confidence, flexibility, self-control, and many others — can be developed and shaped over time through force free training.
Building.
If we concentrate on limiting rehearsal of behaviors we don’t want, giving our dogs positive feedback for the choices we like, and playing games that reward the behaviors we desire, we can help to shape our dog’s personalities and behaviors, thus changing the choices they are likely to make in everyday behavior and situations.
Enjoying
Recall, loose leash walking, accepting novelty — we can encourage and develop all these and more while having fun with our dogs!
